This morning, the younger kids were not in school, so I was up and ready to leave for work a few minutes sooner than usual. So on the spur-of-the-moment I thought I'd swing past the route that ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
tenacious_snail walks to her office every morning, and offer her a ride and a quick hug.
About halfway there, I saw her car, headed in the other direction, and waved. She had picked up a piece of coffeecake from Hobee's (when retrievingtheonlyruth's purse there), intended for patgreene and I.
So we pulled over, exchanged embraces and calories in the middle of the road, temporarily obstructed traffic, and then each pulled-180s and headed off toward our own offices. It was sort of romantic, actually. :)
