Corner vending mystery solved

I decided to pick up some items for breakfast at a convenience store last night... among them one of these small cans of chilled, sweetened coffee that seem to be very popular in Japan. I was mystified by the branding... "Georgia" since (as a native of Atlanta) I know perfectly well that it isn't a region known for particularly good coffee. Or is a producing area. Unless someone has cross-bred coffee plants lately with kudzu... The mystery was solved when I discovered that the beverage is made and sold by Coca-Cola here. Sigh.

Off to morning sessions in robot control, then some afternoon sightseeing in Nara...

Mmm...I *loved* the Georgia coffee, but my fave from the vending machine was a little energy drink that tasted vaguely like apples. I blew more ¥100 pieces on that stuff. Don't ask me what the name of it was; the label was completely in Japanese (unusual in a country where billboards ask you to "Speak Lark" and "Feel Coke") and I never got around to asking.

Don't miss out on buying some "Sweat." It's a sports drink, doncha know.

Oh, and I seriously like Royal Milk Tea but I don't drink a lot of it because of all the sugar in it

And be wary of the energy drinks - a number of them contain nicotine.
