Two concerts

Drove to Berkeley tonight and listened to an early music group perform Marian songs... it was pleasant, about 20 people in the audience, and I was able to hear dawnd's beautiful singing voice. Afterward we socialized with the choir... I saw akienm, redhawke, grynz (for the first time in a year! yay), and met phoenixrisen.

Yesterday I heard James's band concert at his middle school... less elegant than tonight, but it cheered me at a time when I was depressed. And James's talents were improved on percussion.

Glad you could be there, Brian! (Though I caution you not to characterize that as an "early music group"--it was a CLASS, and not all early music at that!) And I'm glad that you could also appreciate James's improvements in his musical endeavors. A very musical day for you!
