Thanks, Brian. It was good, though definitely not what I would usually think of for a b-day celebration. But Akien and who_is_she called me mid-afternoon and wished me a happy b-day (simultaneously; it was cute!), so I did get to hear some spontaneous wishes on my actual b-day (I mean, other than the LJ ones, which I didn't see until today). Gary, unsurprisingly, was a bit caught up in his own drama, and forgot it was my b-day till I prompted him. But he made it up to me in other ways. ;^)
