Finished my draft
It took 2.5 hours, but my draft breakup letter to my ex-friend is done. Now to circulate it to Pat and Nancy for feedback... It is 3 pages, covers most of my grievances, and it is polite.
It seems a bit scary to be tossing away relationships, even ones that are bad for me. After one relationship down-scoped 2 weeks ago, then losing this one... and a few casual "keep your distance" remarks from other friends and acquaintenances, I'm feeling pretty undesirable, ugly and unlovable at the moment. Time to go to bed, at 4am...
