It depends on how you look at it? I think it's pretty exciting that you own a house, and very cool that you've installed an ethernet network throughout your home that the whole family can use.
I wish I had both a house and an ethernet network, but what I have is a small one-bedroom apartment and one computer currently connected to the net that sinboy and I alternately use. Someday, maybe that will change...but that sort of change has been very slow lately. To some degree I wish I had more boring stability like a full-time job -- because there are some flavours of unstable excitement I could do without -- like having trouble meeting rent.
The one thing which makes this situation livable is that I have a good support system and close friends/partners I can talk with...Without them, I doubt I'd be doing as well.
