jayI was just congratulated by my boss in the parking lot -- he was on the Mars Instrument Development Program (MIDP) review panel last week. He was recused from evaluating or commenting on my proposal, but heard informally that it was the highest-ranked robotics proposal. Someone else labeled it "poorly written, but highly-ranked." Better than the converse, certainly! So I have an excellent chance of winning...
