Controlling... aircraft
Oct. 30th, 2003 04:03 pmI've been working this afternoon on schedules and plans for a new air traffic control project -- the one with the pushy outside consultant (JL). It's part of a larger new program called "Transforming the National Airspace System (TNAS)". No one likes this acronym, and higher-ups want something different. The leading candidate: "Project Janus". They're thinking in terms of looking forward and backward. I keep thinking of the local leather support group that goes by the same name, and have to keep stifling giggles in meetings...
