I'm not doing badly for having just crossed the continent on 2 hours of sleep last night... currently, I'm in a relatively swank hotel (the Tyson's Corner Ritz-Carlton... they have Valrhona chocolates on the pillow :-), working on slides for a remote science experiment briefing tomorrow afternoon at NASA-Goddard.
Getting free first-class upgrades, and having lunch with Nancy in Minneapolis didn't hurt either (wide grin). Overheard in the row behind me, MSP-DCA, a Congressman chatting-up a young woman: "During the anthrax scare, we were locked out of our building. I had to have my staff meetings at the Starbucks down the street." "That must have been hard to manage." "Actually, the coffee was a lot better and the meetings were shorter -- everyone was jazzed up on caffeine." "Why didn't you keep meeting there?"
