Tea lights?
Aug. 15th, 2002 09:03 amYesterday afternoon I had to slip away from the workshop to join a teleconference (on vehicle health management, with folks from NASA-Marshall). Afterward, rather than rush back to catch the final hour of the afternoon session, I joined
geekchick for afternoon tea at the hotel. It was calming and low-key and elegant... despite the additional caffeine. Just as well that we were both nicely dressed. And I now know that the "tea light" candles that IKEA sells actually have some nominal function, as under-pot warmers ;-). We departed after happy-hour began and the drifting cigar smoke became too heavy...
Dinner was an afterthought, basic nourishment later in the evening. Today I go back to the workshop, then home this evening... and begin preparations for next week's meeting in Los Angeles...
