Bleah. 11:30 on a sunday night, and everyone seems to have gone to bed... no email... not even spam. Right now, I'm bored enough to read spam. Pat's asleep, I'm wide awake. I tried just now to send an IM to a friend... and she quit within 2 minutes, without replying. This weekend... I was at work Friday night to 3am, then again Saturday until 6pm, trying to catch up on promised abstracts, mobile exploration papers and an air traffic control tool analysis.patgreene's extended illness and recovery have put me behind -- I only time-budgeted being down for 1.5-2 weeks, not three weeks.
Last night Pat and I went tormjwell's 40th birthday party... RJ seemed cheerful, the snowcones were excellent, 7patches was cuddly in a friendly way, I saw ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
the_ogre for the first time in months, met zpiduda for the first time and got to congratulate someone on his test results. Or at least give a hug. And Pat got out of the house...
After church today, I made a large Sunday dinner (fried shrimp, ears of corn, baked potatoes, green-onion bread) and took a 2-hour nap. Then dropped in on Scott's gathering after the kids were fed and tucked-in.
This week... hopefully I'll get both cars back, catch up at work, get my next full STD test battery and go to parent-participation meetings at David's school on Wednesday, before skating.
