Expectations pleasantly surpassed
Jan. 15th, 2003 07:08 amCurrently, I'm on a trip to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, in Huntsville, Alabama, to review the progress made by a large aerospace company on their contract to perform vehicle health management on the next-generation launch vehicle. Okay. They'd been leaving large gaps in their work, and I came in prepared to rip them to shreds... but they heeded my earlier warnings, listened to
hopeforyou's advice in December and worked through the holidays in order to recover. My expectations were pleasantly surpassed. They felt good about themselves. Happy-happy.
Otherwise... I think that
hopeforyou may have had some of her notions about Alabama challenged, but I'll leave those for her to describe. The flight out here was nice (we were upgraded), we got minimal sleep (time zones), found a good organic food store and stumbled into an antiwar rally. Yes, in Alabama... ;-)
Time to pack... back home late tonight.
