It's sunny and clear and 24C outside... beautiful. A good thing, too, given outdoor ice skating lessons and three different Little League baseball games scheduled for today.

patgreene is slowly improving, recovering from her mild pneumonia. And life didn't scrape over the past two days :). Yes, the van's still broken, but I fixed the new iMac by updating the firmware... it took five hours of online research to unearth this incompatibility, but it was better than unnecessarily replacing the CRT. I'm quite pleased...
And my happy mood is in part to spending time with some excellent folks... lunch Thursday with
dawnd and yesterday's Indian buffet with
hopeforyou. And last night Pat and I joined a group at Kiva consisting of House Dreamland (sans Mik) and
ame_chan,
shaktiqueen (both having driven up from LA) and met
raddy for the first time.
And I met beautiful Sylvia... despite her earache. ;-)
