Thanks to mactavish for putting together a delightful gathering this evening. It was de facto her 40th birthday party (her actual BD is Thursday). A relaxed group, with wide-ranging conversational topics :-). And excellent chocolate-oatmeal cookies!

For me, I felt engaged and happy and glad to be there... it was an antidote to the aftermath of the previous night's gathering.

Otherwise, today was spent at skating tests (neither Kevin or David passed :-( packing-up, and sorting books as well as moving a bookcase to a different room, and grocery shopping. Low-key...
