Car owies

This afternoon, we went into a bike shop to get James a new lock (school starts next Monday). We were in the shop for maybe 15 minutes, browsing. When we came out, someone had knocked out the left rear tallight and turn signal cover on my Mustang convertible. And left the scene. The bumper was fine, the trunk was fine... the height of the impact was consistent with someone's trunk bike rack, sticking out.

Sigh... so the car will have to be inspected Monday by an insurance adjuster while I'm out of town, and left at a repair shop in the hope that it will be fixed before geekchick arrives here next Thursday afternoon. At least this will give me an opportunity to finally get the right door handle replaced...

Feminism and male aggressiveness
