Upcoming lecture webcast
Sep. 23rd, 2003 06:04 pmFor anyone that might be interested, I'm going to be doing a webcast lecture on my automated drilling projects on October 8, live from the field in Spain. It is part of a class being offered jointly by NASA-Ames and San Jose State... see http://robotics.nasa.gov/courses/fall2003 for the details on time and the URL. Although I hardly fancy myself a "top NASA scientist"... Ricardo and Carol are top-notch.
Otherwise, my all-day air-traffic project meeting is done... I had to be up at 6:15 this morning in order to go buy bagels and doughnuts for the coffee table ($25 out of pocket). Then ran the meeting, reshuffling on the fly when two presenters didn't show (others ran long). Higher management dropped in just in time to hear another NASA center misbehaving (via telecon), and they were duly thwapped (yay!). More in store here in a month... the week after I'm back from Spain.
