patgreene and I have ordered a set of vanity license plates for our new slate-blue family van. On the Yosemite background, we're getting "LITHIC". ("Bruce" was taken ;). After our family domain... it won't be hard to identify a geologist in the vicinity (chuckle).

Otherwise, today... skating lessons this morning, haircuts for all males this afternoon (and a beard trim for me) and shopping. I had the kids all day, as Pat was out at Advent social gatherings (Altar Guild party, Ladies High Tea).

This afternoon... pageant rehearsal, wreath-making at an Advent Festival after church, and then up into the Santa Cruz Mountains to a tree farm. Tonight... chili, Christmas carols and tree decoration with the kids.
