patgreene and I went to meet geekchick at San Jose airport. She seemed tired but not withdrawn or distant. We picked up a late meal at Flames with her and her co-worker... just having Cathy in town is excellent :-).

Trepidation

Time to leave with the kids for the family church service... I'm approaching this with some trepidation, after the past week's events. But then, I'm used to feeling like a tolerated stranger there. This in-between feeling is new and scary for patgreene, who really would rather just stay home. But we will need to grit our teeth and go, despite feeling not welcomed... to do otherwise would be to concede some kind of guilt in others' eyes. Communion with K officiating should be interesting... sigh. I really feel for Pat... she's grieving for loss of community. I'm used to being an outsider...

Slight change in dinner plans

The group dinner gathering tonight with geekchick is still on for Thai Basil at 7:15pm tonight... but I gave the wrong address (there are two locations). We will be at the 101 S. Murphy location (corner of Murphy and Evelyn in Sunnyvale, not at the address previously posted!
