Weekend trip to Minneapolis

I'm currently out of town, spending the weekend with my sweetie Nancy and her husband Dave in Minneapolis.

Yesterday I was tired (from a red-eye flight) and cold (-2F on my arrival) and we spent the day walking dogs and talking and buying spices at the Penzey's catalog outlet. Last night we made a nice dinner at home to celebrate our 5th anniversary. Yay us!

Today... I slept in, then chatted with dawnd and did some work while Nancy was away, then Nancy returned from work and we went shopping. I bought $200 of clothes, marked down 75-80% at a Lands End outlet. And more stuff at a huge thrift store... I got a purple-brown leather jacket for $4! And a goofy hat, and some things for the kids.

Tonight Dave (Nancy's husband) wanted to go to a strip club, so we had tapas nearby, reminisced about doing so together last fall in Spain and went to a club... relatively dull. There are several friends that I'd rather pay $20 to watch them disrobe and wiggle than these slender young women with blank expressions...

Tomorrow... sledding/tubing.
