Lifting and heaving...

geekchick and C. move to their new (huge!) place. C. and I managed 8 loads in my rental station wagon, on both Thursday and yesterday... About half of their stuff, but the big items (mattress, couch) have to wait for today and more hands and a truck. Although we moved an automobile engine yesterday -- C has a two-bay garage full of vintage Toyota MR2 pieces. Cathy and C. have gone to pick up the large truck... I'm just waiting here at the hotel, having gotten breakfast. Cathy and C. have been feeding me *very* well otherwise... P.F. Chang's on Thursday night, an New Orleans-style seafood place last night (with decent etouffee and crab-corn bisque). I was expecting burgers and sandwiches ;-). It's been good to spend lots of time with C., as we've gotten to know each other better working alongside.
Today... I hope to seecuriousangel drop by, and meet anotheranon for the first time. After the big things are moved today, tomorrow afternoon I'll head home. Kudos to patgreene for enabling me to help out here!
