Tonight's therapy session

We thought it was 7:30pm, it was really at 8:45, it started at 9:30pm. We finished at 12:25am. Three hours... I'm a bit shocky, it was intense for nearly that whole time. No dinner tonight, and we missed bdot's birthday party :-( .

vanity, vanity...

Under the cubbyhole marked "things I shouldn't care about, but secretly do"... my anonymous ageproject.specialsnowflake.com photo (same as this userpic) is guessed to be 34 (after 62 people have guessed), nine years younger than my actual age ;-). The previous photo I used also converged at 35. There's probably a built-in underestimation bias in the presentation and selection of photos, but that's still better IMO than being estimated as a decade older... (grin).

I take little credit for it other than keeping in shape, it's mostly genetic... my mother used to look ten years younger than her actual age. When James was a baby, she was in her early 50s and was usually mistaken for the baby's mother when out pushing him in the stroller...

News reports are that former President Reagan has died... I'd say "good riddance" except that this will undoubtedly only accelerate the efforts on the far right to canonize him. He was a lousy president IMO, only recently exceeded by the current occupant and ranking with the likes of Warren G. Harding and Ulysses Grant... and I was stupid to actually vote for him in 1980.
