eyes watering
Jan. 28th, 2005 11:32 amEmergency shoe repair, as I'm the parent responsible for getting them off to school today... David's velcro backing came off, so I used cyanoacrylate ("super-") glue and blasted it with a hot hair dryer to accelerate the curing. (Naturally, David only mentions his broken shoes 5 min before he's supposed to leave for school..) Now my eyes are watering from the fumes...

patgreene is taking a well-deserved rest after getting up to feed them earlier, as well as covering this week. She gave me a very warm and cuddly welcome-home last night :). After I'd taken advantage of flight schedules to re-route through Minneapolis on the way home, where I had dinner at home with Nancy.
I'll be going back to Minneapolis in a week's time, staying over the weekend for Nancy and my 6th anniversary (since APC4 in Chicago) and would be happy to meet anyone there on my LJ list...
