Future midcontinental wanderings (MN, KS, GA)

I'm planning to take patgreene and the kids on vacation in June this year, given work travel in July and August. Current plans are to fly to Minneapolis and see Nancy et al, then drive to Kansas and spend 2-3 days in Topeka (many relatives, including my 96-year-old grandmother), then drive to Atlanta and see my parents and siblings there.

Probable dates are June 18-26... if anyone on my friends-list lives along that routing and would care to see us en route, leave a comment or send email and I'll try to set up something :).

Whew... they're all off and away. James had early jazz-band rehearsal, Kevin barely made his bus again, and David and Pat just left for the mountains for science camp. I talked to scarlet1 at 6:40am about plans for this weekend's travel to Atlanta. Then fed James, fed and made lunch for Kevin, settled-down patgreene and made a full hot breakfast for her, David and I (I'm having a late lunch today with runeshower, acting as a cookie messenger between the two different Girl Scout bakery districts after dawnd gave me a package last night after discussion group). And cleaned up the kitchen a bit, enough to work.

Now, to get showered and ready for work myself, in an empty house...
