waiting for color hardcopies

Waiting for the handouts to finish printing, for the VIP show on drilling automation that (I found out about last night) that is in an hour... focussed. Have projector, easel, DVD showing drill testing, codec that can play said DVD (thanks to sarahh), and need to borrow the mole and finish printing the handouts...

When placed suddenly in a position in front of an audience of visiting scientists, and expected to speak extemporaneously authoritatively on several related projects, it helps greatly to actually *be* the authority in that narrow field. Whew. I could answer every question on every project, was confident and never off-balance, didn't BS (and if I had, they probably wouldn't have realized it), and earned "we knew you could do it" plaudits from management.

Now, on to really challenging stuff... like my four overdue travel vouchers and receipts.
