After three years of being plateaued at Freestyle 1, this morning I successfully demonstrated my required maneuvers and did a 2.5 minute program to music, in front of a panel of three judges, my coach and
patgreene,
tenacious_snail and
cyan_blue.
It was IMO an 80% performance, I was surprisingly stiff and jittery at first and actually fell once while doing maneuvers... but I recovered, maintained my composure and then skated a good program to put me over the pass/fail edge. :)
And on a completely unrelated note, today is the 25th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle launch... I remember watching it from the Senior House lounge at MIT.
