nicely endorphined :)

Went dancing tonight... English Country Dance in Palo Alto. tenacious_snail and I shared the ride. I plunged in, sat out no dances, made shameless eye contact, and by the end my shirt was soaked. But I was happily floaty on a sea of endorphins :). I hadn't done ECD in a couple of years, but it came back promptly.

Otherwise... earlier today, a demonstration was rescheduled and caused me to be late to my lunch with cyan_blue, but they also went very well.

car follies...

My Mustang convertible has been in the shop for most of the time since I've been back from the Arctic... nearly a week, this time. Waiting for a replacement EGR valve, which finally came in today... for the wrong engine. Gah. I might get the car back today, but it looks increasingly unlikely. I'm supposed to go to a private party tonight in the East Bay... time to start trying to line up rides. And I hate asking for help.

OTOH, we picked up James from band camp, which was fine -- he has learned to march, and carries one of their bass drums, and wasn't one of the kids stung by a swarm of yellowjackets. I'm dubious about their music this year... granted, it isn't all written yet. Looked for bdot and M., but didn't see them.
