Time to head to the polls...
Nov. 7th, 2006 08:07 amToday's plans... go vote, then telecon from home with the lunar prospecting guys. There's a "terrorist response training exercise" underway today just outside the gates at Moffett Field, so traffic will be snarled locally. Rubber-necking could cause slowdowns on 101 through Mountain View, for anyone who commutes past here.
Later... meet with Idaho National Lab guys, James's HS teacher conference, clean house and have a couple of people drop by to watch returns.

tenacious_snail's help. Saturday cyan_blue stayed over and watched the kids so I could go to the PPP. James had a successful band competition in Lodi and David was 2-2 in an all-day wrestling tournament, and patgreene was coping with steep slopes at a church women's retreat Fri-Sun near Santa Cruz.
Yesterday I helped brief the Ames center director (Pete Worden), who recognized me and gave positive feedback about our drilling automation and lunar/martian analogs work. :)
