Valentine's musings, in a sense
Every day I've been here in Albuquerque this week, and particularly yesterday, I've been reminded fondly of ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
patgreene. The first time I came here for a conference was in 1989... Pat's personal motif has always been a butterfly, and I found a lovely butterfly antique silver pin that I gave her. It was a 1940s-vintage Native American piece that had once been part of a collection featured in Arizona Highways (the shopkeeper showed me the issue), and I bought it in a small shop in Old Town, the early-19th-century pre-railroad town center. Every day this week, I've driven by that shop again, and thought of butterflies, and Pat, and how much I love her. :)
