Panel session this morning (criteria for choosing lunar analog sites) went well, even if I had to get forceful at one point when another panelist tried to talk over me (twice... I let it go, the first time ;). And I covered all of my networking and glad-handing goals for the week...

Then I re-did my 2005 performance plan (being considered for a re-rate upwards), skipped lunch altogether, went geocaching as the sun was setting (found 3/5, missed two micros in the dusk and snow), found a neat diner for dinner and reviewed proposals for next week's meeting in San Diego.

Tomorrow... up at 4am, off to the airport, and home.

Several of my friends are in San Jose this weekend for Pantheacon (which I keep shortening to "P-con", admittedly)... I'd always vaguely thought of it as a sort of local sci-fi con-equivalent, but for pagans... maybe a few hundred people. But in Delta baggage claim, it seemed like half the people wore insignia or shirts that, er, led me to think that they were there for P-con... which surprised me, I didn't realize that people came to these things from out of town. Apparently there's more like 2K there... it will be harder to find people to chat or hang out with this weekend, since seemingly half of my local friends and sweeties are down there. Oh, well... time to reground at home, anyway, in-between travel.
