Back to work...
Feb. 26th, 2007 08:31 pmLots of talking to lots of people, today... I briefed my NASA managers on last weeks' events, just-in-case. Talked to a couple of media folks. And others.
And thanks to so many folks out there for their comments of sympathy and support... with several hundred, I'm at a loss to reply to all of them personally, although I wish I could. Just... thanks. :)
And dug out at work from two weeks being out of the office. Good thing that 3 weeks ago I proposed that we could use the same automation technology from drilling for lunar surface oxygen production... the lunar resources program was shifted today from an emphasis on prospecting and rover surveys, to long-term development of equipment that can produce oxygen from lunar regolith. And we're on board... whew.
