In Pittsburgh...

I haven't been here for about 6-7 years, when we were also discussing lunar rovers. Today there's an outside demonstration at a CMU auxiliary yard on 2nd St.... forecast is for 34F and rain this afternoon. Oh, well... I brought warm clothes and a hat.

Yesterday's flights were uneventful, I had upgrades on both legs, but I had a nice layover in Minneapolis... saw N. there for lunch and her medical appt. and lots of talking and other activities. OTOH, US22 coming from Pittsburgh airport was closed at I-279, and the backup and detour took nearly an hour to get into town. Which was still impressive, emerging from the tunnel and going over the river bridge. :)

It was a good day... I made points in the discussions about the ISRU drill being demonstrated, and networked and caught up with colleagues. Even if the Scarab rover tests were wet...

And I had a lovely evening with blk, sampling Belgian beers and finding our way up to the cold and windswept Incline, overlooking the city. :)
