Annual physical results
Jan. 15th, 2008 11:24 amJust met with the NASA flight surgeons' office, who also does annual employee physicals. My results are good... blood tests are all negative, EKG and eyesight and hearing are good, internal organs are correct sizes and shapes and with normal outputs, cholesterol ratio is very good, prostate is "very healthy" and not enlarged at all. Only downside is that I've been unable to use the gym since Thanksgiving (paperwork expired) so my muscle tone and cardio conditioning was off a bit, and my weight was up about 10 lbs (BMI has crept into the upper 20s). Address that and get back to where I was in early November, and I'd be in excellent shape, and could get a FAA class 1 (if my eyesight were better... ) and continue to qualify for a second-class medical flight certificate. So far, so good. And my badge should resume letting me into the gym as of next week. :)
