For the second time in six weeks, [profile] patgreene has been involved in a fender-bender accident with the new van, while I've been on the other side of the continent. No one is hurt, but she's quite emotional... I'm calm, but waves of tension are rippling up and down my back. Must... be... stable... and... reassuring...

I've checked flights, and nothing at this point gets me home before tomorrow.

If you're willing to go out of Dulles, there's an American flight which will get you in at 11:00, but you'd need to head over there pretty much right now.

Yes, I'm emotional, but I'm not sure that there is much that you could help by coming home. I'm emotional, but I'll find a way to get through this.
