treading water
Household disorganization. All of this mundane clutter. Clutter around the house (spread by the kids, mostly), clutter on my computers, clutter at work and in my head. Mental equivalents of credit-card solicitations.
Pat looked lonely Saturday, and was pretty sick and miserable... so I skipped the party and did some nurturing and cuddling. Besides, we got to circulate the previous week at RA's party, and I expect I got at least as much cuddling at home as I would have gotten in Woodside :-).
Yesterday it was "family time" , off as a group to Malibu Castle in Redwood City, where the 3 boys and a friend played miniature golf, ate fries and quickly blew $15 on arcade games. Envisioning them as teens...
