Actually, that's pretty close as far as the dynamics go. The friend in question lives close by, but we don't have sibling-level past emotional intimacy...and zie doesn't feel comfortable with any touching or affection lest it lead me on... I'm less tense hugging my siblings (or any other inner-circle or outer-circle friend) than this friend.
