Then perhaps you should only form relationships with people who have the same strong preference for openness that you do. If you are in a relationship with a more private person, you're going to get fireworks (and not the good kind). I speak from experience. It's why my partners are all, without exception, people who are open about themselves.
(And when you imagine what your SOs are doing, you are doing that to yourself, and it's nowt to do with your SO and everything to do with your not keeping control over your imagination. And it is not fair to hold your SOs responsible for your flights of fancy, no matter how scary those imaginings may be.)
