I've been asked several times lately, in slightly-despairing voices, if I had my own Christmas list, to which I answered in the negative. Generally, I have more than enough material stuff to meet and often exceed my needs, so I don't often think in terms of getting or asking for more. So I've been going over what is missing or worn out (clothes, wallet, watch) and comfort or fun items for me, as well as some household acquisitions, and compiled a list. Here enclosed for the reference of those who have asked, for amusement otherwise. Interpersonal relationship issues, resolution of global problems, other's health and winning the lottery isn't included...

A new leather trifold wallet
An FM transmitter to play music from a CD player on a car radio
Compilation CDs from friends containing interesting or new music
A deposit on a HAI Level-2 workshop in late February
Black leather rubber-soled slip-on walking shoes, 9.5W or 10D
Figure skating blades to match the new boots I bought last year
A yearly subscription to The Economist
New size-10 lightweight sneakers with D-ring laceups
A Roomba ES cleaning robot with recharging dock
Some really nice cognac, Spanish-equivalent or French
A new household telephone set with caller ID
Red Dwarf V and VI DVDs, when released
A new Casio calculator watch with a leather or fabric band
Long-sleeve collared knit shirts with a chest pocket, primary colors
A full-body massage from someplace/one non-scary
More cotton navy socks from Land's End
Blake's 7 DVDs, if they exist
Interesting adult toys
Introductory skydiving or scuba lessons
