Week's plans

Five days until Christmas... my shopping is nearly done, everything except patgreene and the kids. My social calendar this week is only moderately busy, as many friends are already out of town.

Monday: nothing social. See sarahh at work.
Tuesday: at work, then to Berkeley in the afternoon with D. and K. for storytelling in the afternoon.
Wednesday: work, then 6pm Christmas pageant at our church in Mountain View, followed by a quick dinner there and then off with kids to dawnd's carolling by 8pm.
Thursday: off work, no plans other than last-minute shopping and buy lots of groceries.
Friday: off work, no daytime plans... maybe take the kids and Pat to the Lemony Snicket movie. Evening church service, wrap kids' gifts.
Saturday: Christmas, play with the kids, cook a large meal here (since we went elsewhere at Thanksgiving) by around 2pm.
Sunday: no social plans... other than possibly help tenacious_snail haul her remaining stuff from her ex's house, and get dinner afterward.

I'll extend an open invitation if any local friends want to join us here for the pageant or church stuff, or for Christmas dinner... :)

By the way, if I don't manage to get myself out to Merrifield and the regional post office tonight, odds are good that your and Pat's gifts might show up early next week; hope that'll be okay.

Note that although I'm encouraging people to actually show up by 7:30 this week, I still doubt we'd leave the house before 8pm for going outside caroling. And that assumes we're doing that part at all (weather willing etc). So don't worry that you can't be up here till 8.
