anticipation

Six more days, and a particular sword will cease dangling over my head. I can hardly wait.... (wry grin).

Off to bed, must get up in 2 hours to go to the airport... nice date tonight with the cuddly [profile] patgreene, dinner and Hitchhiker's Guide.

'twill be nice to have that one over. Personally, I'm looking forward to a number of things later in May, so anything that moves us closer to taht is good in my book. The interval between May 27 and Sept. 16 is going to be really, really long, though.

June 16 (leave on vacation) to October 28 (end of lunar conference in Houston)... I'll be in CA for only seven out of 19 weeks total. That will be a long, lonely interval for me at times...
