not rocket science?

Just wasted three hours in fruitless relationship processing.. meanwhile, lots of time today spent repeatedly describing the benefits of a modular software architecture and middleware for a future lunar lander, instead of one control loop on one CPU running everything. Went to the Army CRREL lab in Hanover, NH as a side trip... saw lots of cold environmental chambers. Did not get to see [personal profile] noelfigart or her family.

And this afternoon, we got the Legos and K'Nex and began building a physical model of the lander or rover.

followed by the CRREL trip and then a "New England clambake" back at the hotel... not what I expected, but, hey, free lobster buffet!

Bummer about the relationship processing. *sigh*

Too bad about not getting to meet with [livejournal.com profile] noelfigart; I know that had been something you'd been hoping to do.

But that's a cute picture!
