jayMy shipment of Arctic equipment is still sitting in Los Angeles at the Air Canada cargo terminal... due to haggles over batteries. These are sealed Ni-Cd or lithium ion batteries used in camcorders or laptops. Airfreight wants material safety data sheets, otherwise they are now categorized as "Dangerous Goods" like ammunition or volatiles. And have to be repacked into 10-kg small shipments. Grr. These are simple batteries!
