Ever have one of those moments of profound self-doubt? Where one looks at some part of one's life and wonders suddenly if one isn't only off-course, but going in the wrong direction altogether? (shakes head)

It will pass, I'm sure.

Yes, I have days like that too. Those are days when I count the many good things in my life.

Yes. It can make me panic. Or sleep. Or hide. Or cry. Hopefully not all of the above, because I will end up waking up curled up in the bottom of the closet, having filled my ears with tears (I hate that sensation).

Definitely. You know how much I love my work, and I have days when I wonder whether I can really sing, and days when I wonder whether I'm a phony as a teacher. Sometimes I wonder what my life had been like if I had followed one of the many other possible paths.

I think that it's healthy to examine one's life.

Yeah. I think we all have those moments. Its at those moments when being at choice and knowing what that really means is crucial. Those are the times I am most likely to make some change I have been wanting to make or take some step I wasn't willing to before. Lots of hugs T
