After Jill Sobule's opening set last night, she was signing CDs in the lobby while Billy Bragg was setting up. I waited patiently in line. When I got up to the front, I commented to her that I had a good friend who was a mild-mannered Unix sysadmin by day and sometimes rode her bike on weekends or after work, and whose handle was based on one of her songs.

"Wow, that's really the best! Your friend rocks... I like it!"

So, karenbynight, you've received Jill's own official seal of approval. =)
