Also, I'm not particularly fond of vegs and steamed dumplings, which seemed to be over half of the things brought. I think that there wasn't really a host, per se, given that there were about 20 people around two large tables... elissaann was the GOH with Jon, floating, and the organizer serenejournal was tucked away in a corner. So it was sort of everyone-for-themselves.
