we are stranded on I5 in the middle of nowhere... transmission died, at midnight. Mile 324. two hours from home...sigh. It is very dark, am using the Treo as a flashlight.
Goodness, but this is just a bit too much bad stuff to happen to you folks in a week. Many hugs, dear... You are, as ever, in my thoughts. Hope the situation goes as smoothly as it possibly can from here. Please let me know if there's anything I can do.
I rented a minivan (so I could haul 5 passengers plus luggage), and picked them up from a motel in Coalinga. Their minivan got towed to a Ford dealership in Coalinga. out the door to take Jay to SFO to fly to Atlanta. Pat hadn't slept in 24 hours...hopefully she will now. I'll be home in a bit over an hour, and head to sleep then.
Jay, I am sorry to hear that you got stuck in coalinga of all places. We seem to be living a parrelle week this week. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please have a safe flight. There is a bunch of hugs and cuddles waiting for you when we both get back. Love T
