White and shiny

jayThis morning, I drove to South SF and bought a shiny white pedestal sink (Craigslist) which I spent most of the afternoon trying to install in place of our moldy old vanity. And enjoyed blue-shiny afterward... i.e., a brief visit in Oakland with cyan_blue. And then looked at white-shiny-red-streaked, i.e, 1'x1' square polished marble tiles with red and purplish streaks. These are a great bargain on CL, $1.50 per square foot instead of $8 retail. patgreene liked them, so we'll set up delivery of 300 sqft tomorrow. That should cover the renovations of both bathrooms...
Tonight, Pat and I went out for tapas, Cold Stone, and bargain-CD-hunting at Tower records' bankruptcy sale.
