Good presentation

Despite my concerns that one of the two possible industry partners would punt, I actually received all inputs by yesterday, headed down to Los Angeles last night and then gave a presentation of last summer's results and the proposal for follow-on work to NASA program management this morning between 9-10am at JPL. It went well... good questions, I covered the major technology goodies and triumphs, and there wasn't apparent sticker shock at the FY07-08 quotes. :)

Back home after lunch... It has been a travel-filled past week. And strange, but true... today marks (goggle) 19 years that I've been with NASA, since I finished grad school...

19 years at one job? At 6-9 months I start getting the itch to move on. I'm guessing you have had enough challenges to keep everything interesting.

Congrats.

Motivation is easier when it is exploring the cosmos, rather than making someone else a buck... but even here, I usually have more than one project going on, and they turn over every 2-3 years internally. And thanks.
