patgreene is stable, still in the hospital. No hidden pockets of infection are apparent from the CT scan yesterday... they're going to take her off of antibiotics tonight, wait 24 hours to see if her fever recurs, and send her home tomorrow if it doesn't.

Thanks for your expressions of support :-) . Virtual hugs really can help...

And thanks to sinboy for employing his employee discount to help be buy books yesterday for Pat.... and 7patches for stopping by the hospital and visiting this afternoon... it was just fun to hang out together, as well as cheering Pat considerably. Even though we had to drop conspiratorially silent in some discussion topics whenever one of the nurses came in. And daltong came by for a visit while I was gone... all of the attention seemed to cheer Pat up considerably.

After another visit this evening... Pat was very much into a book that sinboy selected... I left the hospital around 10:15pm and went over to akienm's and dawnd's pool party for its last 45 minutes. It was still worth the drive, just to relax in the warm water with friends after all of the stress of the past few days. And lots of cuddles, especially from runeshower and p3aches (smile)... I felt appreciated and supported :-). Afterward, a group of us went to a nearby Denny's for a late meal...
