A dull Friday night...

Because I'm all alone here in my office at NASA, working late. Trying to get an abstract done from our summer human vs. rover field tests. And edit another paper. And put together a presentation recommending what role NASA should play in developing the FAA's new System Wide Information Management air-traffic support tools. I could really use coffee now...

I miss going dancing, like I used to go ballroom dancing on Fridays with Barbara. Or even club dancing, jumping around until my shirt was soaking and my endorphins were singing. There's no one to dance with, anymore... although ice skating helps.

Regency dancing is part of what happens at Gaskell's. Since Gaskell's is mid-Victorian, there are later dances there as well. And Regency is what's usually done on Saturday nights at Cons. Tends to be just a bit more staid than the Victorian stuff, on average.

[livejournal.com profile] dreamervictoria will be working Dicken's Fair again this year, I believe. She spends a lot of her time at Fezziwig's. I'm sure there will be at least one poly outing there--you can get some of your dancing ya-ya's out there, I'm sure. And there are lots of folks who go to Gaskell's. We have been known to go, though it's been quite a while. We'd be more likely to go if we knew there would be a group of folks we know.
