9:15 is the adult "freestyle" class, working on jumps and spins and footwork, starting with waltz jumps, half-flip jumps, and two-footed spins. The more advanced skaters in the class may be working on axels, camel spins or double jumps while those of us in the lower levels work at the same time on easier maneuvers. We get a fair share of "haven't skated in years, but used to do X or Y" re-entry skaters.

From 8:30-9:15 is the adult basic class, which starts with stroking, crossovers, forward edges, 3-turns, up to bunny hops. It is geared more towards have-never-skated adults, or initial crossovers from roller-blading.
